Recovery Month 2024

What is Recovery Month?

Recovery Month is an annual observance held every September to promote and support new evidence-based treatment and recovery practices. It also highlights the strength and resilience of individuals in recovery from substance use and mental health disorders. Established by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Recovery Month serves as a platform to honor those who have embarked on their recovery journey and to acknowledge the dedication of professionals who support recovery efforts.
